In 1960, I began a career in the airline and travel industry. Over the next 30 years, I served in various positions. It was a promotion with a national travel company in 1992 that brought my wife and I to the Dallas area.
About a year after moving to Texas, I began to feel that God had something else for me to do. That feeling was confirmed, when, in September 1995 my employment with the travel company was terminated and I began a six month search for His will.
It was clear that He was calling me into the counseling field. I began my graduate studies at Dallas Baptist University, graduating in 1998. I completed my post-graduate studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May of 2001. After graduation, I served on staff at a church in Lewisville as Pastor of Christian Life Development for two years.
In 2003, I began my internship for state license and became fully licensed in 2006. At that time I began a private practice in Southlake and opened an office in Lewisville in 2009.
In addition to conducting individual and group counseling, I have served in numerous other venues. I have spoken to various men's groups about sexual issues. I have provided answers to emailed counseling questions through New Like Ministry.
I have served as a counselor at New Life Ministry's Intensive Weekends, Every Man's Battle workshops, and as a facilitator for New Life’s Healing is a Choice. I am also serving as a facilitator of E
very Man's Battle Sustained Victory weekly conference calls.
My wife Marlene and I were married in 1959. We have four wonderful children, all with families of their own. We are also blessed with fourteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. We worship at a church in Flower Mound.
I first gave my heart to the Lord at the age of seven. And although I have not always been faithful to Him, He has always been faithful to me. I lean on Matthew 19:26 "With man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
